COMMUNITY OUTREACH & AFFAIRS DIRECTOR
Michelle joined Worley in January 2019 where she is currently Senior Executive Assistant to the Executive Group Director, SVP, Operational Excellence & Digital Enablement and SVP, Data & Applied Intelligence of Information & Digital Delivery.
Prior to joining Worley she worked at Equinor (formerly Statoil) for over 12 years. She supported Hydro’s General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer before being promoted to Executive Assistant to the CEO/President, Helge Haldorsen, December, 2006. After Hydro & Statoil merger in October, 2007, Michelle became Executive Assistant to Statoil’s CEO/President, Oivind Reinertsen. During her tenure at Statoil, she provided executive assistance to SVP Business Development, VP Strategy and VP Communication and served as the company’s Houston Admin Network Coordinator, Toyota Center and NRG Suite administrator.
Prior to joining Statoil, Michelle worked as an executive assistant in the legal industry spanning more than 20 years for such law firms at Porter & Hedges, Thompson & Knight and Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
Her experience includes event planning, project management, business development, corporate, litigation and probate. Michelle is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and earned her Executive Masters of Public Administration from Texas Southern University and her undergraduate degree in Business Administration & Government from Texas Woman’s University. She also received her Tradeshow Marketer Certification from Northern Illinois University.
In her spare time, she enjoys event planning, traveling, volunteering, working with teens and serving her community. Michelle is an avid Saints fan and a proud member of the Who Dat Nation Social & Pleasure Club / Charitable Foundation of Houston Texas. She has two adult children.
