SHERRY GRANTHAM
ExxonMobil Corporation
EiSi Leadership Team Champions Director
Sherry Grantham was born and raised in Texas and has been happily married to her high school sweetheart since 1988. Together, they have one daughter who is now married with three children—making Sherry a very proud “Honey” to her beloved grands. Sherry and her family enjoy a simple life, one she considers richly blessed in countless ways.
With nearly 29 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Sherry’s career is a testament to hard work, resilience, and a willingness to grow. She began as a contractor with no administrative skills, but under the guidance of a remarkable mentor, she quickly developed the expertise that would shape her future. Although she was originally slated to join as a file clerk, Sherry was brought on as an Administrative Assistant during the ExxonMobil merger in 1999—a defining step in her career.
Within her first five years, Sherry received an unforgettable opportunity: a trip to Paris, France, to train the administrative team at the Saipem site on a new file structure. Having never traveled outside of Texas before, much less out of the country, this experience opened a new world for her. It led to annual travel as she represented ExxonMobil as a Delegate at various conferences across the globe.
In 2012, Sherry was honored with the Woman of Excellence Award from the Federation of Houston Professional Women, representing the IAAP ExxonMobil North Chapter—an achievement that remains one of the highlights of her career.
