Kris Garza was born in Houston, Texas, and brings more than 25 years of executive administrative experience across the oil and gas, energy, and chemical industries. Her career includes a decade with INEOS, a global chemical company, and more than 13 years with Shell USA. Throughout her professional journey, Kris has supported executive leadership at the highest levels, including CEOs, CFOs, Executive Vice Presidents, and Presidents.

In her current role, Kris supports leadership within Shell’s HR North America organization, focusing on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Employee Relations, Workforce Development, Policy & Benefits, Supplier Diversity, and Diversity Advocacy. She is known for her deep commitment to fostering inclusive environments and championing meaningful, people-centered initiatives.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Kris is actively engaged in the communities where Shell operates. She contributes through volunteer programs, employee resource groups, and partnerships with supplier diversity stakeholders. Her passion for advancing diversity and inclusion is not only a professional priority but a personal calling—an area where her natural strengths truly shine.
