While the EiSi OGE Conference and Vendor Exhibition helps to introduce the vendor to potential customers and firmly establish relationships with current customers, the vendors still do not always understand how to become “preferred” or to sign up as MWBE vendors at an energy company. Many are seeking the ability to be included in the energy company’s procurement system. This presentation is intended to give the conference exhibitors a general idea of the requirements or preferences an energy company looks for when partnering with a new vendor/supplier. Q&A session included.
