AMBER PENA

Chevron Corporation

Amber Peña is an Administrative Business Partner with 20 years of experience supporting senior leaders and teams. She excels in executive support, operational coordination, and process improvement, consistently delivering compliant, high‑quality outcomes while preserving professional discretion and a strong sense of ownership in demanding environments.

For the past 13+ years Amber has served as an Administrative Business Partner at Chevron, currently supporting the Facilities Engineering Offshore organization. She is an active member of the Chevron ABP Steering Committee, mentors fellow administrators, and supports company events. In 2025 she was the sole Chevron finalist in the Gulf Coast Region Administrative Awards and has been invited to serve as a judge for the upcoming program year.

Before her corporate career, Amber served nearly a decade in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer and Drill Sergeant, including two deployments, and retired as a First Sergeant. That service strengthened her leadership, discipline, and ability to perform in high‑tempo, high‑accountability environments.

At home, Amber is married to her middle‑school sweetheart of more than 35 years, is the mother of eight children (six biological and two adopted), and is a grandmother to six grandchildren. She is committed to community leadership and service: she coaches girls’ softball, serves as a Gatekeepers Assistant Captain for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and is an active member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Amber also founded **22 Vets**, a grassroots organization that connects veterans to resources and peer guidance.
