VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to cheer on walkers, assist with event activities, keep the route safe and fun, and more.  Explore the teams you can join and find your perfect fit!

REGISTRATION

TEAM DUTIES:

  • Check in walkers
  • Distribute walker wristbands, tee shirts, etc.
  • Provide directions and event info
  • Manage walk‑up registrations

KID ZONE

TEAM DUTIES:

  • Help with activities and games

  • Assist parents and children

  • Manage safety and check‑in/out

  • Assist with stations and exhibits

VIP EXPERIENCE

TEAM DUTIES:

  • Greet VIP guests
  • Distribute badges, tee shirts, and swag
  • Manage VIP activities and provide VIP support
  • Coordinate VIP photo moments

SOCIAL SPOTLIGHT

TEAM DUTIES:

  • Capture photos and videos

  • Post live updates

  • Interview walkers and exhibitors

  • Work with event photographer and videographer

EVENT OUTREACH

TEAM DUTIES:

  • Encourage walker and partner sign‑ups leading up to the event

  • Assist with forming teams and groups

  • Provide info on walk purpose and impact

PARTNER SUCCESS

TEAM DUTIES:

  • Help exhibitors and sponsors set up booths

  • Assist with materials

  • Provide water, signage, and support

  • Ensure smooth booth operations

CHEER & SPIRIT

TEAM DUTIES:

  • Cheer walkers along the route

  • Provide water and encouragement

  • Assist walkers needing support

  • Keep the energy high

WALK SAFETY

TEAM DUTIES:

  • Safety sweep all walk zones

  • Report incidents or emergencies

  • Ensure walk route remains clear and safe

  • Assist with crowd flow and congestion points

  • Field any safety questions
