Susan Howes<\/strong> is President at Subsurface Consultants & Associates (SCA) leading the firm\u2019s consulting, recruitment, and training services with a commitment to technical excellence. Howes worked at Anadarko, holding roles in reservoir engineering, business development, corporate engineering, and HR. Howes\u2019 jobs at Chevron included Manager of the Horizons Program and Reservoir Management Consultant, and she also served as President of Chevron\u2019s Women\u2019s Employee Network. Howes co-chairs the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) \u2013 Houston Area (HA) Awards Committee and she was named SWE – Woman of Excellence by the Federation of Houston Professional Women in 2020. She serves on the University of Texas (UT) Geology Foundation Advisory Board and the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council Property Committee. She has coauthored papers and articles on the topics of ethics, uncertainty management, risk management, and talent management. Howes received the SPE DeGolyer Distinguished Service Medal, is an Honorary Member and Distinguished Lecturer for 2019-20, and is 2027 SPE President. Howes holds a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering (PGE) from the UT and was named a 2024 PGE Distinguished Alumna.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
